Asia-Pacific Studies in Economy and Society (APSES) aims to provide an international academic exchange platform for interdisciplinary research at the intersection of economic development, social transformation, and regional governance in the Asia-Pacific region. It is dedicated to advancing the theoretical and applied development of Asia-Pacific studies in areas such as the analysis of regional economic cooperation mechanisms, the exploration of social equity and inclusion paths, the interpretation of cultural integration and identity construction, and the formulation of evidence-based policies for sustainable regional development.
The journal focuses on publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed content covering topics including, but not limited to:
- Asia-Pacific Economic Development and Cooperation: Regional Trade Agreements (e.g., RCEP, CPTPP) and Their Economic Impacts, Cross-Border Investment and Industrial Chain Layouts, Digital Economy Development in Emerging Asia-Pacific Economies, and Economic Synergy Between Coastal and Inland Regions

This study explores the multidimensional impacts of urbanization on economic and social development across 25 economies in the Asia-Pacific region from 2018 to 2023.
