Abstract

This study integrates six key sustainable business dimensions (circular economy, corporate responsibility, etc.) to explore cross-industry implementation paths and impact mechanisms of sustainable practices. It uses a systematic review (89 high-impact 2022–2025 studies) and in-depth case analyses of 12 manufacturing, tourism, and service enterprises. Key findings: (1) Circular economy practices (e.g., product lifecycle extension) boost resource efficiency but face high initial investment and supply chain coordination challenges; (2) Digital technologies (AI, IoT, blockchain) enable real-time carbon monitoring and optimize sustainable supply chains, cutting waste by 23% on average for adopters; (3) Local incentives (e.g., green innovation tax breaks) and global frameworks (e.g., UN SDGs) synergize to accelerate emerging economies’ sustainability transitions. It offers practical guidance for enterprises’ sustainable strategies and policymakers’ targeted support policies.
